    • Nynorsk "e-mål" with first person plural "vi": nno_e
    • Nynorsk "e-mål" with first person plural "me": nno_e_me
    • Nynorsk "a-mål" with first person plural "vi": nno_a_vi
  • Morphological analysis of Nynorsk and Bokmål
  • Part-of-speech tagging of Nynorsk and Bokmål

For information on the latter two points, see subheading "For more information" below.

Build Status

Requirements

You will need the following software installed:

  • lttoolbox (>= 3.5.0)
  • apertium (>= 3.6.0)
  • vislcg3 (>= 1.3.0)
  • apertium-lex-tools (>= 0.2.5)

If this does not make any sense, we recommend you look at: apertium.org

Compiling

Given the requirements being installed, you should be able to just run:

$ ./configure
$ make
$ sudo make install

Use ./autogen.sh instead of ./configure if you're compiling from git.

Testing

If you are in the source directory after running make, the following commands should work:

$ echo "Eg vil gå ein tur" | apertium -d . nno-nob
Jeg vil gå en tur
$ echo "Jeg vil gå en tur" | apertium -d . nob-nno
Eg vil gå ein tur

After installing somewhere in $PATH, you should be able to do e.g.

$ echo "Jeg vil gå en tur" | apertium nob-nno
Eg vil gå ein tur

The following command runs tests which are on the Apertium wiki page:

$ ./regression-tests.sh
