BagIt Profiles Specification

The purpose of the BagIt Profiles Specification is to allow creators and consumers of Bags to agree on optional components of the Bags they are exchanging.

Status of this specification

Current version: 1.4.0 (2023-01-13).

Background

The original draft of the specification was created by members of a Access 2012 Hackfest group. Those members were:
