Cosmic Background Music
Roughly after some 13 billion years later, some creatures appeared on this planet and developed curiosity. They built tools and technology, and observed the footprints of their atomic ancestors -- some individual photons that have been redshifted for so long, silently, waiting to be known.
Listening to the Cosmic microwave background is a journey to our own past.
But first, you need Go and portaudio[*] installed on your computer. Install this program by running:
$ go install github.com/rakyll/cosmicbackgroundmusic
Then, run the server:
$ cosmicbackgroundmusic
Browse localhost:8080 and click on a region to listen.
[*] Use brew install portaudio
on a Mac.
