About Curatescape

Curatescape is a set of themes and plugins for the Omeka Classic CMS, and native client applications for Android and iOS devices. For more information, visit curatescape.org or view the GitHub project wiki.

Server-side Setup

To get started, install Omeka and the Curatescape theme and plugins on the server of your choice. You can grab the all the required and optional Curatescape components (excluding Omeka) by cloning or downloading this repo. There is also an unofficial command line script for adding/updating components at ebellempire/curatescape_utility.

  1. Install Omeka
  2. Add the Curatescape theme to the /themes/ directory
  3. Add the required plugins to the /plugins/ directory
  4. Optionally, add additional recommended plugins to the /plugins/ directory:

Native client apps

Note that while the server-side components of Curatescape are open source and freely available, the native client applications are proprietary and require a license agreement. For more information about licensing, visit curatescape.org.

Documentation and other resources

Please visit the Curatescape project wiki for technical and usage documentation. For general information about the project, please visit curatescape.org. Please visit the Curatescape Forum for inquiries about Curatescape. If you're new to Omeka, please consult the Omeka documentation and forums for help with installation and usage of Omeka.
