The Nord Setup

My setup is built around the excellent Nord color scheme. I've taken every effort to make sure that every component of the system fits right in with the rest and looks consistent. Suggestions and critique that understand this goal of the setup are welcome.

The original setup, developed in 2017, was updated to Nord v2.1 in early 2020. I then made the move from bspwm to Sway in December 2020 and this resulted in the current iteration that I'm calling Nord v3.

The following are the main components of this setup:

• Sway (window manager)
• Waybar (status bar)
• Wofi (application launcher)
• Mako (notification daemon)
• Swaylock-Effects (lock screen)

Fonts

The fonts in use are -

• JetBrains Mono as the monospace font
• Inter as the proportional sans-serif font for UI
• Material Design Icons Desktop as the icon font (as seen in the status bar)

Wallpapers

Based on the gorgeous artwork by Alena Aenami
Edited to match the Nord color scheme using ImageGoNord

I'm not sure where I got the original from but you can find it in the images directory. I'm using an edit created using the aforementioned ImageGoNord.
