The 1.x development branch is EOL and only receives security updates.

Please consider a migration to Icinga Web 2: https://www.icinga.com/products/icinga-web-2/

Icinga Web 1.x was the successor of the old CGIs.

The Icinga Web 1.x frontend is licensed under the terms of the Open Source GPL version 3 license.

The documentation is located in the doc/ directory. The latest documentation is also available on https://docs.icinga.com

The Git repository is located on GitHub.

Icinga Web 1 is written in PHP/JS and makes use of Agavi and ExtJS.

Contributing

There are many ways to contribute to Icinga -- whether it be sending patches, testing, reporting bugs, or reviewing and updating the documentation. Every contribution is appreciated!

Read the contributing section and get familiar with the code.

Pull requests on GitHub are preferred.

Testing

Basic unit test coverage is provided by running make test during package builds.

Snapshot packages from the laster development branch are available inside the package repository.
