spm 781
This is the issue in the project spmjs. The team wants to popularise a brand new static package manager for browser. However, it's a good try and not everyone loves to accept, by agreeing to the spm, you need to introduce a new key spm to your package.json which doing the exact same job package.json is doing.
Tip, there's no reason you couldn't just use the package.json directly. Your properties are the exact same as the package.json properties. #
- Why another package manager, high quality requirement. lodash 543
- Decline at the first, package.json should be enough, why again more package manager. underscore 1630
- Cat crying face when being rejected.
- Don't dirty the original package.json - Cookies 26
- Good Bye spm - farewell

Should we stop GitHub in China?
I hope this is not going to happen in the future, at the moment, GitHub is still available in China but not google. Some of the people think GreatFire is pushing the GitHub to be banned - Can you stop polluting GitHub. Also ibufu think GitHub should be banned because the firewall can "filter" some not so good programmers.
Our goal is not to get GitHub blocked. We are trying to expand the online freedom which I believe all of us who use GitHub want. We are working hard to end online censorship in China and we believe that this is possible. But it requires that we unite. Those of us who believe that having access to GitHub is a right, not a favour that can be cancelled any time, must work together. (Read more...)
