Running Lunchy locally

  • create a ".env" file in the root with the below enviroment vars
  • npm install
  • grunt

Deploying to AWS

  • grunt release
  • Upload zip from /release
  • set environment vars on AWS

Required environment vars

  • BOT_TOKEN - Slack bot token
  • CRON_CHANNEL - Slack channel ID to send daily ping
  • DB_ID - for Fieldbook
  • DB_PW - for Fieldbook
  • DB_USER - for Fieldbook
  • FORECAST_TOKEN - for Forecast.io
  • TIMEZONE - e.g. "America/Chicago"
  • TIMEZONE_OFFSET - without DST, e.g. "-6"
