This is a Work In Progress game!
Hello everyone, I am Sairam, the developer of OpenSkyCity, A city simulation game, with 3d graphics, for now I have done 2% of game! The SplashScreen I didn't have good video to place in VideoPlaceHolder.
- Download the files from Master branch of github.
- Get Python 3.8.2+ from https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-382/
- Get Kivy 2.0.0rc3+ from https://kivy.org/doc/stable/installation/installation-windows.html and kivy/kivy#6563 (comment).
- Install
python -m pip install docutils pygments pypiwin32 kivy_deps.sdl2==0.1.* kivy_deps.glew==0.1.* kivy_deps.gstreamer==0.1.* kivy_deps.angle==0.1.* - Install the dependencies from dependencies.txt before running main.py
- Run main.py It would take sometime to load for the first time. Please wait till then. If it crashes , try again for 1 to 3 times, it'll work.
- For testing the game if the game works correctly. Check your users folder and Appdata/Local folders. (For now I have removed that) There will some folders like plugins, special_sandbox, premium. If you find them, then the game is working properly.
Nothing is on the game except MainMenu!!!
