Free tool that allows you easy open any deep link that you have in your simulator, you will see all available simulator's in your machine, organized first by iOS device and version and the other's after.

Even more, any deeplink that you use will be saved, so, you can chose again the same one that you used before without any problem.

Main Features
✅ 🤩 GUI for open deep links and persist the ones that you already used
✅ 😗 Open any simulator even if close
✅ 🥳 You can see which simulator is running or chose a new one
✅ 😎 Persist until 100 deep links
✅ 🛡 Signed by official apple developer account, it's safe to use

🇦 🇼 🇪 🇸 🇸 🇴 🇲 🇪

Beside all the possibilities the biggest advantage is the possibility to easy select any simulator, open, have a clear visual view of your device status, with the possibility to have a history of all your deep link just having an icon in your menu bar in your Mac.

SkyBar

How to use

  1. Open the app after installed in your application folder, and you will see on the menu bar of your mac an icon of the app.

  2. Click and you will see the GUI, the same as the animated GIF above.

  3. You will see the list of available simulators, you have two choices.

3.1 If you have no simulator running, just add a deeplink or select one from the history first and click in the device / simulator that you want to run that deeplink.

3.2 If you have any simulator already running you can find in the list, will show as green, add a deeplink or select one from the history if you already did before.

Requirements - Check before install

As it's a developer tool you should have:

  1. Xcode installed
  2. Command line tools installed *(you can download this from your apple developer account - "https://developer.apple.com/download/more/")

Important to know, as after some Xcode updates you can have some old device reference's, that actually is "unavailable", for this tool we always clean this as they can't be selected.

Installation

Method 1: Use this command in your terminal and will download, unzip and move to your application folder! 😎

curl -LO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/felipeflorencio/SkyBar-Deeplink/master/SkyBar.zip && unzip SkyBar.zip;rm -rf __MACOSX;rm -rf SkyBar.zip && mv -f SkyBar.app /Applications

Method 2: Download or clone by yourself, unzip and: Just drag the "SkyBar.app" to your mac "Applications" folder.

FAQ

  1. When the simulator is close, and I click to open and the SkyBar start the 'Simulator' always open another device.

Answer: It's a know 'issue' actually by some reason that I really don't know when you open programmtically simulator always start with a default simulator 🤷.
