photography.eexit.net - PHP Silex project

⚠️ This project is not maintained anymore.

This project is the latest previous version of my photography portfolio. I tried to use the latest and best practices in term of Web development. The whole project is technically described step by step via my blog (in French) so if you are new to these technologies, it'd be easier for you to learn from there.

Technologies / Features

  • PHP/Silex + Monolog + Swiftmailer + Symfony components
  • PHP/Composer
  • PHP/Smak (personal libs)
  • PHP/Atoum
  • PHP/Twig
  • JS/jQuery
  • CSS/Twitter Bootstrap
  • Yahoo! YUI Compressor
  • CSS Media Queries (responsive design)

Links / Steps

  1. Pré-requis et architecture
  2. Configuration de Silex
  3. Jouons avec Silex
  4. Ecriture de tests fonctionnels
  5. TDD pour le code métier
  6. Templating

Known bugs

  • Chrome: the slider content initial offset is broken with mousewheel
  • All browsers: the header FX queue is improvable for mobile viewport
